A FAMILY AFFAIR
Established in the late 1950s, by the late Ray Morgan (pictured on right) and the late Harley Blows, succeeded by Ray's children, Roger Morgan (pictured left) and Raylene Morgan-Smalley; the Morgan Clinics technique rapidly gained widespread acknowledgement from it's early patients as the fastest and most gentle relief to pain associated with the back and neck.
The first clinic began from Ray's home on Thackeray Street in Hamilton, where he and Harley utilised rooms in the house for treatments. Raylene recalls coming home from school and helping to clean the crisp white towels used for patients coming through for treatment.
As word spread of the treatment and the number of patients on their books began to grow, Harley moved to Auckland to establish another clinic, while Ray relocated the Hamilton clinic to a new premise on Collingwood Street. It was here that Ray's son Roger (pictured on left) was trained in GTM Therapy and began assisting his father to treat the growing number of patients. Roger would go on to take over from Ray and continue with his own clinics.
Raylene was later trained by Roger and began delivering the treatment from her own clinic in Auckland in 1998. She then relocated to take over Roger’s clinic in Mount Maunganui in 2003. Raylene has treated over 10,000 patients since beginning her clinic, which is now in her home, much like her father's when The Morgan Clinic began. Raylene's extensive experience means that you’re in expert hands. She loves doing what she does, believing that helping people become pain-free isn’t an occupation, but a true passion.
